meredith.rogers@stbdenver.orgshe/her
Meredith was raised in San Antonio, Texas, and sent to seminary through the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas. She graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in May 2025 and was ordained to the diaconate on the Feast of Saint Barnabas on June 11th. She was ordained a priest at St. Barnabas on December 19, 2025. A lifelong Episcopalian, Meredith has spent over a decade serving the Church as a camp director, diocesan staff member, youth director, and campus ministry coordinator. She earned a degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, with a minor in Addictive Disorders and Recovery Studies.
Meredith moved to Denver with her spouse, Asher (they/them), and their animals—Aspen, Willow, Cypress, Juniper, and Maple—whom they lovingly call The Grove. She is passionate about community building, the queer community, pastoral care, and making the Church a place of belonging, healing, and joy for all.
Staff
Keisha Masby
she/her
Keisha is a Colorado native who grew up in Aurora. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Social Sciences at Florida A & M University in Tallahassee, FL, then moved down to the Miami/South Florida area for 10 years working in the non-profit field, then later worked with the Broward Sheriff's Office in Communications as a 911 dispatcher. After returning to Colorado, Keisha continued her work in the dispatching field with Falck Rocky Mountain Ambulance for 3 years, and worked in the durable medical equipment field for almost 6 years before entering into the world of administration for St. Barnabas, and also for St. Andrew's Episcopal Parish. She enjoys connecting and providing support for people and is looking forward to continuing on with her calling as a parish administrator.
Nichole Young
she/her
Nichole grew up singing in choirs, and she grew serious about studying music when she was in high school. After earning her BA and MAT in Music Education from Oregon State University, she served as a vocal music teacher to students in public schools. She currently teaches voice and piano students (both children and adults) under her business name, Moon Song Music Studio. Passionate about social justice, anti-racism, and community care, she serves on the board of Denver Area Music Teachers Association, hoping to be impactful in the music education communities in Denver. Nichole's hobbies include gardening, songwriting, and traveling, and you can often find her cozy with an engaging book.
Leadership
The officers of the parish and the members of Vestry (the parish governing board) are lay people elected to lead the parish. Their role is defined by the canons (laws of governance) of The Episcopal Church, the Episcopal Church in Colorado, and the by-laws of St Barnabas Parish. Here is our current leadership.
