Our goodbye service at Warren UMC will be on Oct. 30, and our first service at 1280 Vine St will be Nov 6, with a brunch celebration to follow immediately after the service.

Room Names in the new Marshall House:

The large room downstairs will be called Grant Hall, in appreciation of Peter and Rhonda Grant and their years of commitment to the parish and to this renovation project.

The fireplace area will remain the Brady Room, and Lukens Wing will also remain.

The new chapel upstairs will be called Foster Chapel in honor of John and Jane Foster in gratitude for their service to St Barnabas over many years.

The Administration Support committee has begun a process of evaluation for clergy and staff, and the rector’s evaluation is in progress.

A series of different celebrations and open houses are being planned for the months after our return to St Barnabas, beginning with the celebratory brunch on November 6.

The Stewardship Campaign for 2017 will begin here at Warren UMC on Oct. 23 and end on Nov 20 when we’re back at 13th and Vine St. This year every parishioner will have a a designated vestry member or stewardship leader for questions and discussion about pledging.

From the Junior Warden: there will be a garden clean up day on Saturday, Oct. 8 starting at 9am to begin getting our grounds back in order after a year of construction. Please be there if you can!
